Very early in the morning (4:30 am) we will pick you up at your hotel, we will drive south to Cusipata Village, and then we will take a route that will take us at the base of the mountain to a small community called Chilihani, our trailhead.
On our way we will see a multitude of llamas and alpacas, shepherds dressed in beautiful and colorful costumes as part of their tradition, pass by beautiful creeks leading to the highest parts, be surrounded by snowy peaks, with the impressive Ausangate mountain towering in the distance. Almost at the top we will observe the change of the landscape from green to red, further we will discover a beautiful mountain range with different colors extended from mountain to mountain, our destination, Rainbow Mountain.
Our guide will explain you about the existence of the Rainbow Mountain; finally with one last push we will go up a little more and stop in a view point that gives you a full view of this incredible scenery.
After that we will have lunch, return to our transportation and return to Cusco City.

- This is a group service and if client is not ready at pick up time might lose tour. We cannot make the rest of the group wait.
- Pick up time is at client’s hotel in Cusco City Centre, if hotel is outside the City Centre there is an extra fee and has to let us know in advance for coordination.
- This tour includes lunch and there are food options for those that have allergies or restrictions, please let us know these in advance.
- Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, a very warm jacket, rain jacket, passport, water and good vibes!
